Govan Lake

Govan Lake

Govan Lake is in the northeastern region of the North Frontenac Parklands (below the south end of Norcan lake). It is located deep within the parklands.  This lake offers a more remote setting with land access restricted to the Arcol Road (logging and utility line servicing trails) requiring vehicles with clearance. Govan Lake is home to 8 campsites situated sporadically throughout the lake and are mainly located on islands. There are 2 vehicle accessible campsites (aka drive-in sites). Both sites are big enough to occupy a small trailer.

Fishing on Govan Lake – Here you will find Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Yellow Perch.
