Hungry Lake

Hungry Lake is small, but pristine! The road to the lake is gravel and is well maintained by Parklands staff, however, with mother nature not always being on our side, heavy rains can wash the roads out so we do recommend a vehicle with clearance and/or four wheel drive to access the campsites.

This lake is home to 2 campsites, both of which are accessible by vehicle (aka drive-in sites). Both sites are situated up off the water and are a good size, and will hold a small pop-up trailer. Access to the water can be a bit tricky as there is a steep embankment down to the water’s edge. There is no boat launch at this lake, therefore if you want to be on the water you may want to bring along a canoe or kayak to venture the lake.

Fishing on Hungry Lake – Here you will find stocked Splake and Lake Trout as well as Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Perch and Northern Pike.

Please Note: Road Access Permits are required for Hungry Lake.
