Beginning April 1st until November 15th a Road Access Permit is required for any use of the 58 kilometers of Crown roads located in the North Frontenac Parklands. All vehicle types require a permit. Fees collected for Road Access Permits are reinvested by the Township into maintenance and upkeep of the crown roads, boat launches and campsites within the North Frontenac Parklands.
Although many of the North Frontenac Parklands lake access points and campsites can only be reached by travelling on a Crown road when you ‘Reserve a Campsite’ a portion of the camping permit fee is allocated for road access, thus:
Road Access is included (for one Vehicle) upon reserving a Campsite.
Daily, Weekly and Seasonal Road Access Permits are available Online, at the Municipal Township office or at participating local locations.
