Any person visiting, camping or otherwise using the North Frontenac Parklands (Users) does so at their own risk. Users acknowledge that any outdoor recreational activity including but not limited to camping, hiking, canoeing, biking, swimming and fishing have inherent risks and agree that their participation in any such activities is voluntary and entirely at their own risk.
The Township of North Frontenac (the Township) assumes no liability whatsoever for any injury, death or damage to or loss of personal property resulting directly or indirectly from a User’s visit to North Frontenac Parklands or participation in any activity whether conducted inside or outside the North Frontenac Parklands boundaries.
Due to the remote location, often rugged terrain, and weather conditions it is not always possible to maintain every campsite or trail. Most hiking trails and portage routes are not maintained. The condition of campsites, trails and portages can be adversely affected by weather. Users acknowledge that the Township accepts no responsibility for the condition of any trail, portage route or campsite.
